This conundrum has increased the importance of monitoring traffic using different fields of science. One of these techniques include speed estimation using vision techniques that has gained a lot of popularity in monitoring and reducing traffic related problems especially in urban areas. This project discusses different methods including imaginary lines used for object detection to estimate speed of the moving vehicle.
