Whenever a new survey is conducted regarding the incidence and prevalence of drug abuse it has become a known fact that there would be an increase seen. While interpreting results for peer influence and substance abuse, our hypothesis no 2 stood confirmed. Virtually peers and family drug abusers also sharing the same border. Whereas strong relationship was found in drug abuse to get comfort from worries and hospitalization due to drug abuse. Peer influence in our research remains the strongest factor contributing towards drug abuse amongst university students of Lahore.
