The project addresses the pressing need for a purpose-built educational and creative facility that integrates learning making and collaboration within a single architectural framework. It aims to provide modern infrastructure for art and design education, promoting innovation, community interaction, and sustainable development. Designed as a multidisciplinary communethe proposal accommodates academic studios, digital laboratories, workshops, exhibition galleries, auditoriums, and student residences, along with landscaped courtyards and open gathering spaces. The design emphasizes adaptability, daylight integration, cultural expression, and environmental sustainability through passive cooling systems green courtyards, and the use of locally sourced materials by merging functionality with cultural identity, the Art and Design Hub aspires to become a landmark institution that nurtures creativity, strengthens connections between academia and industry, and contributes to Pakistan’s growing creative economy.
