Conferring to information from the World Bank, the literacy rate for women in Pakistan is significantly lower than that for men, and females' contribution in the employment strength is also lower. In terms of political representation, women hold only a small percentage of spaces in the National Assembly and in the provincial assemblies. Additionally, traditional societal attitudes and cultural beliefs can limit the opportunities available to women and contribute to their underrepresentation in various fields. Females’ representation in politics is limited to a few names. But their contributions have clearly shown that politics is irrespective of gender. The underrepresentation of women in politics has significant theoretical implications for the democratic process. Research has shown that having more women in politics leads to more inclusive and representative policy-making, as women often prioritize issues that affect marginalized groups. Additionally, the underrepresentation of women in politics can reinforce societal gender stereotypes and perpetuate discrimination against women in other areas of society. This can also perpetuate the underrepresentation of women in politics as a self-fulfilling cycle. This study will present the significant elements that are associated with the issues and problems related with the women and women’s empowerment. It will present the detailed view about those aspects which must be observed by the government for making ease for the female citizens of the country so that they can also get empowered and can earn their living without depending on someone’s else. These factors can be observed in a detailed and an exploratory way so that the reader will get the knowledge and education about the aspects which are associated with such issues in the country. The rules, regulations and the legislation related with the women for their political and governmental jobs were also be discussed in this document. The future recommendations will help us in generating the positive aspects out of this view.
