There are several factors affecting the individual innovation, personality of employees is one of important factor and has significant inference for individual innovative work behavior at work. Past studies have exposed the empirical relationship of innovative work behavior with big five model but there is deficiency in literature with respect to six factor HEXACO personality model. This research aspires to investigate moderating role of age in relationship between HEXACO personality traits and innovative work behavior. Hypothesis were drawn from related literature and tested with help of data collected from employees working in IT sector of Lahore Pakistan. The results revealed that honesty-humility has positive relation with innovative work behavior, agreeableness, extroversion and conscientiousness has no relation with innovative work behavior, and age does not moderate with honest-humility, emotionality and openness to experience. Results after this study provide the evidence regarding the link between personality traits, age and innovative work behavior. This research will help the employees and organization to increase innovation by studying the personalities of employees.
