This thesis aims to discover the distinctive characteristics that have made Versace a cultural icon by conducting a comprehensive analysis of the brand's history, design philosophy, and cultural significance. The principal part of this proposition gives an outline of the historical backdrop of the Versace brand, following its starting points back to its unassuming starting points in Italy to its ascent to worldwide noticeable quality during the 1980s and 1990s.
