The characteristics of school effectiveness include professional leadership, sheared vision and goals, safe and orderly atmosphere, focusing on teaching training, high expectations for students, positive reinforcement, pupil right and responsibilities, home- school partnership, established staff development. This was a quantitative research and used survey design. Sample was comprised of 110parents of students enrolled in semi government school of Lahore. Descriptive statistics was used to analyses the data.
