Parental Acceptance Rejection Questionnaire is used in which children replied to two forms of the PARQ (Rohner, 1990), one approximation children’s perceptions of their father’s acceptance-rejection (Child PARQ, father version) and one approximating mother’s acceptance-rejection (Child PARQ, mother version), Personality Assessment Questionnaire(PAQ) is keyed so that the superior the score, the advanced the level of self-reported psychological maladjustment, Social Competence Scale for Children were administered in the group of 77 girls. Results revealed that there was a link between social competence and psychological adjustment for the girls having step mother than for the group having stepfather.
