These machines have a local database in which all the records of the employees are stored. They have to get synchronized with the server on weekly or monthly bases according to the organization’s use. When an organization changes the duty of its employee from one department to another department then they have to change the database of the android biometric attendance machines. Which is a difficult task to do. Organizations also have to duplicate some of the employee records which will get difficult to synchronize. Due to these issues, our system BAS (Biometric Attendance System) has a Centralized database stored in the server. The server is an organization local, only accessible within the organization. There will be more capacity in our system and there will be no need of creating duplicate records of employees. All the biometric machines are connected with the server. Which will take some time to send and receive a request from the server. This will help the organization to synchronize the database after every attendance in the server.
