Survey research was used for data collection. Survey was conducted by administering the questionnaire by the researcher. For data analysis, different techniques were used to interpret the data. These include testing of the null-hypothesis with t-test and item analysis by using chi-square. Data analysis reveals that secondary school teachers are not satisfied with their income and social status. But they are satisfied personally. It also reveals that there was no significant difference in the responses of experienced and inexperienced, qualified or unqualified, private and public sector teachers. Though the scope of study was limited to the area of Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, yet this study can be helpful for teachers, head teachers, and policymakers. The results could be generalized by broadening the scope of the study in other parts of the country.enMotivational factors in promoting job satisfaction at secondary level a survey of teachers opinionThesis
