For this purpose, ten public and ten private schools, in Lahore, were selected as a sample. All the teaching staff of the schools was taken as sample and they rated their head teachers regarding leadership styles. The total sample is comprised of 160secondary school teachers. Quantitative research method was employed to carry out the study. For comparison, The Leadership Behaviour Description Questionnaire was adopted. The questionnaire comprised thirty restricted response items and analysed on the basis of five points Likert type scale. To reach certain conclusion, along with the basic descriptive statistics t-test was applied for comparison.
