In this study, the researcher has analyzed eight poems by PerveenShakir, with a particular focus on four deviations namely semantic deviation, graphological deviation, dialectical deviation and register deviation within the stylistic analysis. The analyses of the poems reveal that stylistics, linguistics and language as well as literary criticism and literature are inter-linked.
