It is an essential component in the development of human beings. In this study the researcher explored the perception of the parents regarding imparting sexual education to the children. The researcher also try to understand the religious perspective of parents regarding sex education for children and the practiced attitude of the parents. To investigate their perceptions, the researcher used mixed method research approach. 12 semi-structured interviews were conducted from parents including both mothers and fathers. Community survey about attitude towards sex education was conducted to get the opinion of parents, teachers and youth. In qualitative results, the main themes that emerged from the data analysis were; understanding of parent, landmark for imparting sex education, awareness about sex education, societal perception, agents of sex education, and psychological impact. These themes are linked with each other. Whereas in survey results we get the statistics that were shown variation in their opinion regarding grades. In the conclusion, the role of sex education in children lives is much highlighted. It doesn't only contribute in physical development but also play strong role in making psychological development of the individual. It is important for making our children strong not only physical but emotionally and psychologically.
