This research employed the quantitative research approach where data was collected through cross sectional survey from professionals in Lahore’s fashion sector including project managers, team leaders, and designers. The analysis implies that although strategic decision making, emotional intelligence and communication are essential for transformational leadership competence to manage the fashion industry, influence of these on project success is not as strong as suggested. Additionally, while trust does not significantly mediate the effect of leadership competencies on project success; knowledge sharing does not significantly moderate this effect. These findings show that the leadership, trust and knowledge sharing dynamic is more complicated and nuanced than previously recognized, specifically in a creative and dynamic environment like fashion. The research adds to the body of knowledge on project management with regard to how transformational leadership can be practiced in less orthodox settings and that the fashion industry needs a more holistic perspective to leadership and project management. The study is limited by measurement reliability, as well as the cross-sectional design which prevents causal inferences. This study used a deductive research approach, the analysis conducted is on IBM SPSS, and the sample size is 200-300 respondents.en-USAnalyzing the impact of leadership competencies on project success:the mediating role of trust and moderating impact of knowledge sharingThesis
