For this purpose 105 participants having babies of age 3-9 months were selected. The main study was carried out by using correlational research design to determine the psychometric properties of the indigenous scales developed during current study as Psychosocial Problems of New Mothers (PSP-NM) and Post-partum Body Image Satisfaction (PBIS) for psychosocial problems and postpartum body image satisfaction of new mothers. However for mental health Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale (DASS-21) was used. Results revealed that psychosocial problems and mental health problems were negatively correlated with postpartum body image satisfaction and positively correlated with each other respectively, but postpartum body image satisfaction's relationship with psychosocial problems was not found significant due to our culture. Significant findings regarding demographics revealed that mothers of more age and with college educational background experienced more psychosocial problems.enPost-partum Body Image Satisfaction (PBIS), Depression, Anxiety, Stress ScaleMSPsychosocial Problems, Postpartum Body Image Satisfaction and Mental Health of New MothersPsychosocial problems, postpartum body image satisfaction and mental health of new mothersThesis
