Pseudomonas is abundant in moist environment, mostly as water borne and soil borne organisms. Pseudomonas species have been found in water, plants, soil and animals. Pseudomonas aeruginosa colonization apparently occurs in more than 50% of humans. Pseudomonas is an opportunistic pathogen, causing monomial infections. These organisms show innate resistance too many antibiotics and can develop new resistance after exposure to antimicrobial agents. It causes respiratory system infections, blood infections, wounds infections, urinary tract infections and variety of systemic infection in patients.enWater borneAntibioticsMS ThesisPrevalence and antibiotic resistance pattern of Pseudomonas species in different clinical sources/specimensPrevalence and antibiotic resistance pattern of pseudomonas species in different clinical sources/specimensThesis
