The current time is an era for quality and competitiveness which sets a question mark of how to cater for the changing trends of the world. Innovations are the major attributes to attract the stronger customer base and thus place a company in a dominant position within the industry. This was the primary reason for creating the fading effect on denim. The enzyme system used was Denilite 11 ™, and Voluomax by Novozymes which is a class of Laccase and cellulase en^es. The enzyme was applied onto the rndigo dyed denim in the form of granule with the help of anti back Stainer and wetting agent. Various results were obtained using different process variable. Two types of leg panels, one of indigo and the second of bottoming were selected. Serious of experiments using experiment using varying parameters were performed and the resulting level of fading in specimen was assessed.enThesis
