As the study purposes is to investigate the effects of stereotypical portrayals of males and females on the behavior of youth, we considered “the uses and gratification theory” because it is certainly appropriate to present the research widely. The random sampling procedure is implemented in order to collect responses from the people. The questionnaire is expecting to receive at least 130 responses. The data collected from this sample is accurate. With this research we perform regression analysis since it a dependable way of discovering which factors have influence on a subject of interest. The method of completing a regression enables us to reliably identify which elements contribute significantly, which ones may be overlooked, and how certain variables influence one another. The findings of the moderate analysis revealed that stereotypes representing gender on the notion of youth self-image regulate the link between media generated stereotypes and young attitudes about self-image, which leads to behavioural changes. Additionally, the negative impact of media-generated stereotypes has been compounded as a result of such behavioural and social variables.
