The aim of the present study was to explore the role of social support of Hijras from the Pakistani society and how it affects the psychological well-being of the Hijras and their lives. Furthermore psychological well-being was assumed to be positively correlated with social support. The nature of study is quantitative and the samples comprised of 47 participants, which were selected from Lahore city. Purposive sampling strategy was employ for this study. Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet& Farley (1988) multidimensional perceived social support scale was used to assess the perceived social support inHijras. The RyffPsychological well-being scale (1989) was used to assess the psychological well-being of participants. Obtained data was statistically analyzed by using Pearson Product Movement Correlation analyses. Result of the study indicates that the social support was strongly linked with psychological well- being of Hijras. But some finding show negative relationship such as self-acceptance had negatively relationship with social support. The result established that the social support is directly associated with the psychological well-being of the Hijras. The conclusion of this study was that Hijras are human beings so they should be treated humanely. They should also be given psychological well-being services.
