Abstract: Linux Kernel development, its source code and compilation is discussed in this paper; it also elaborates data structure and modules along process scheduling and memory management. In this paper, the methodology of using fuzzy logic techniques to improve the performance of an operating system is discussed. Through analysis, I have found that many elements of an operating system, process management, storage management, file management, distributed system management, etc., can be fuzzified so as to tackle the problems with fuzzy information and to allow users to use the computer systems conveniently and efficiently.
